June 19, 2019

Hello Friends, we are having a book signing! Here at the Mesa Bookstore we are proud to host a signing of “Santa Barbara Solstice.” This book, published in 2015, covers many eras of the Solstice Celebration here in Santa Barbara. The signing will take place here, 1838 Cliff Dr. Santa Barbara, 93109 on Wednesday June 19, from 7-9 pm. We will also be offering a 15% discount on all books in the store during that time. Please come, hear about the making of “Santa Barbara Solstice,” and peruse our store as well. We hope to see you. There will be snacks.

March is a month for Childrens Books

Here at the Mesa Bookstore we are always interested in sparking the interest of our young readers. You can’t beat a good book for entertainment. It doesn’t need batteries or electricity. If you add a vivid imagination it will get you through many a tough spot entertainment-wise. We have picture books, chapter adventures, classics both old and new.

Sunday 2/17 Event a Success

Friends and visitors alike enjoyed a lovely, cold/windy/rainy/sunny day at Mesa Bookstore. Music was provided by Daniel Lower and Friends, Chucumite, and Bohemian Dreams. Thanks to all who came and made it a fun day. Please feel free to drop by anytime and take a look at everything the Mesa Bookstore has to offer.

Sunday 2/17 party and sale

Dear Friends and Readers. We share your concern with the weather, but fear not. The Sale Must Go On. We will be open on Sunday, from 11-6 with coffee, music and cookies, as well as many great books on sale. As I was putting books out for the sale I saw many that I would buy again if I could. Funny that. Please join us rain or shine this Sunday, to celebrate two very fun years running the little Mesa Bookstore.

Second Anniversary Party

Please join Diane and D.J. celebrating our second anniversary at The Mesa Bookstore with sales books, music, cookies and coffee. The party starts at 11 am on Sunday, February 17 and lasts till 6 pm in front of the store. Music begins at noon with Daniel Lower followed by Chucumite and then Lark Batteau. There will also be tons of literary gems for $1, $2 and $5: paperbacks and hardbound books from our vast treasure trove. Cookies, coffee, great books and tunes: what could be better? Hope to see you there helping us keep literacy easy up on the Mesa.

Willy will be there, will you?
